JOSHUA OLSHIN

Joshua Olshin is a Managing Partner and co-founder of AuctionAdvisors, offering a wealth of experience in advising corporations, financial institutions, municipalities, and individuals on real estate and related asset dispositions across the United States. Before establishing AuctionAdvisors, Joshua was a Partner at Integrated Property Group, LLC (d/b/a Tranzon) for over four years, and served nearly four years as Managing Director and General Counsel at Express Auction.

His legal career includes over eight years as a corporate/transactional attorney, starting at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and later at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on corporate asset transactions involving real estate. Joshua holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, a J.D. from Northwestern University Law School, and an M.B.A. from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He is actively involved in various trade organizations, including the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), National Association of Federal Equity Receivers (NAFER) and the Commercial Receivers Association (CRA). He is also admitted to the New York Bar Association.

Before entering the auction industry, Oren was a partner at a real estate investment brokerage, focusing on commercial property transactions. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and is a graduate of The World Champion College of Auctioneering. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and North Carolina; a licensed auctioneer in Pennsylvania; and a court appointed receiver in New York State. He is a member of various trade associations including the National Association of Auctioneers (NAA), a former President of the Turnaround Management Association, New Jersey Chapter (TMA) and is on the board of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyer’s Foundation (NJBLF).
